YouTube is one of the largest video-sharing platforms launched back in 2005. This Google-owned platform is one of the largest growing platforms on the internet with millions of videos being uploaded daily. As big as the platform is, so is the competition. YouTube is home to millions of YouTube channels offering multitudes of video genres. Some channels grow at a faster pace than others and amass large amounts of subscribers. Thus, they have grown into YouTube channels with the most subscribers.

As it stands, YouTube is one of the biggest competitive platforms with people from every nook and corner of the globe vying to be among the YouTube channels with the highest subscribers. This post contains a list of the YouTube channels with the highest subscribers.

1. MrBeast

MrBeast, otherwise known as Jimmy Donaldson is an American YouTuber and he is currently regions the title of the YouTuber with the highest number of subscribers. As of September 2024, MrBeast has over 314 million subscribers on his channel. He has uploaded 813 videos and gathered 57,952,764,555 views in total. MrBeast is known for his elaborate, high-production and expensive challenge videos. These challenges also reward the players with prizes including thousands if not millions of dollars. MrBeast started his channel in 2021 and he started by uploading Minecraft and other gaming videos. As the years went by, his videos also became philanthropic which is what MrBeast is well known for now.

2. T-Series

T-Series is India’s biggest music label company and it owns more than 35% of the Indian music market. The Indian music channel has over 273 million subscribers and boasts an impressive 265,015,028,216 views as of September 2024. T-Series primarily uploads Indian music video tracks and movie trailers. It was founded way back in 1983 by Gulshan Kumar and it joined YouTube in 2006. The channel’s success can be attributed to the Indian market’s demand for local music. With a country population of over a billion people and international viewers, T-Series was bound to amass the numbers it has today and become one of the YouTube channels with the highest subscribers.

3. Cocomelon

Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes is a children’s entertainment and education channel. It is the thirst most subscribed channel in the world. It is owned by Moonbug Entertainment and operated by Treasure Studio. The channel is popular for its 3D animated videos of popular nursery rhymes with Baby Shark being one of the most popular examples. Cocomelon also produces their original music. Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes has over 181 subscribers and the channel has raked over 188,549,400,040 views in the current day. This children’s entertainment channel was started in 2006 and it has uploaded over 1,258 videos since then.

4. SET India

SET India is yet another top India-based YouTube channel. With more than 177 million subscribers, SET India stands to be the fourth most subscribed channel on the platform. Sony Entertainment Television you need to know as (SET) India is home to popular Hindi films and shows. These shows include The Kapil Sharma Show, Indian Idol and Shark Tank India. As the name suggests, SET India is a division of Sony Pictures. The channel has gained over 169,034,271,705 views in total from 143,864 uploaded videos. 

5. Kids Diana Show

Kids Diana Show is another children’s entertainment YouTube channel sitting comfortably in the top five list. Ever since its launch in 2015, Kids Diana Show has gained more than 125 million subscribers across 1,249 videos. Eva Diana Kidisyuk hosts the channel with fun live performances, animation and lively music. It is primarily catered towards preschoolers. Along with her brother, Eva also hosts other YouTube channels with similar content. However, it is her Kids Diana Show that has garnered the most subscribers among her family’s other channels. 

6. Vlad & Niki

Vlad & Niki is a preschool entertainment channel which started in 2018. The channel features siblings, Vladislav Vashketov, Nikita Vashketov, Christian Vashketov, and Alice Vashketova. Vlad & Niki’s videos are mostly vlogs, roleplaying and ads. The channel has gained over 124 million subscribers with over 757 uploaded videos. Additionally, the channel has over 94.515,423,146 views since its inception in 2018.

7. Like Nastya

The top YouTube channels with the highest subscribers continue to be dominated by kids’ entertainment channels with the entry of Like Nastya in the 7th position. This channel is centred around the life of Anastasia Sergeyevna Radzinskaya, also known as Like Nastya. With over 119 million subscribers, Like Nastya features videos where Nasta and her friends play, sing, learn new things and share their experiences. Children’s songs, roleplays, unboxings and vlogs are typically uploaded to this channel. Like Nastya has uploaded 899 videos with 104,138,222,349 views altogether. The channel was started in 2026 and has been steadily increasing in numbers. 

8. PewDiePie

PewDiePie, also known as Felix Kjellberg is a prolific Swedish YouTuber who first started as a gaming channel. PewDiePie’s channel grew in popularity with his Let’s Play gaming videos and maintained the title of the most subscribed YouTube channel from December 2014 to February 2017. He diversified his channel from a gaming channel to include other kinds of content such as vlogs, music videos, comedy skits and more. Despite losing his crown as the most subscribed YouTuber, PewDiePie still maintains an impressive 111 million subscriber count. He has gained 29,388,031,362 views across his 4,784 videos. He started his YouTube channel in 2010 and he is considered one of the biggest key figures in YouTube history. 

9. Zee Music

Aside from being one of the YouTube channels with the highest subscribers, Zee Music Company is also a leading Indian entertainment and television company. It is among the largest aggregators of Hindi programmes and holds the majority of shares in Bollywood music. Zee Music is a subsidiary of Zee Entertainment Enterprises and the channel primarily uploads music videos and movie trailers. This India-based YouTube channel joined the platform in 2014 and its subscriber count has risen to 110 million to date. The channel has uploaded 12,009 videos so far and it has also racked up to 69 billion channel views. 

10. WWE

WWE which stands for World Wrestling Entertainment, is an American wrestling programme. Its YouTube channel is in the 10th position for YouTube channels with the highest subscribers. The WWE YouTube channel posts moments, highlights, and other WWE-related videos on the channel. WWE has also raked up more than 104 million subscribers with a whopping 78,789 videos on its channel. The channel has also raised more than 87 billion channel views ever since it joined the platform in 2007.

The success of these YouTube channels could be attributed to a couple of factors. A steady upload schedule is among one of these factors. Viewers want to see consistent videos from the channel to maintain the same level of interest. Furthermore, what all these channels have in common is that they are consistent with the branding. Viewers know what they come to these channels for. Identity is an integral aspect of a channel’s success. MrBeast, while he offers a variety of videos from challenge videos to vlogs remains the ultimate king of YouTube. This is also because of his branding. MrBeast is known for his philanthropic work and if he deviated from this premise, he may not make the same amount of noise as he once did. Thus, branding and identity is something to be carefully considered when moving forward with a YouTube channel.
