Sensi.AI Provides 24/7 Monitored Assistance for Care Giver Providers

Sensi.AI is an artificial intelligence care copilot that assists care providers and monitors the elderly 24/7. This AI startup’s technology provides round-the-clock supervision as well as holistic assessments.

As mentioned on the company’s website, over 90% of the elderly want to live and age in the comfort of their own homes. In addition, the limited number of caregivers has resulted in 89% of caregiver companies declining business. Furthermore, employees from such companies can only attend to elderly clients for a few hours a day. They are unable to provide 24/7 monitored care to their clients. Thus, this is where Sensi.AI steps in with its AI technology

The startup’s technology aims to monitor the health status of elderly clients around the clock. The AI also assesses the client’s health to find any issues related either to their physical or emotional well-being.

Sensi can sense health issues such as a common cold, migraines, pneumonia or emergency cases such as strokes, heart attacks or even a fall down the stairs.

The AI copilot works through audio pods set up around the client’s house. After the audio pods have been set up, the AI takes audio and makes assessments to find any differences if any. The copilot does not even require any human interaction to utilise it.

Sensi.AI: Background

The AI startup was started by founders, Keren Etkin, Romi Gubes and Nevo Elmalem in the year 2019. The AI company offers its services in the United States and Israel but expansion plans are in the talks.

Care Providers such as GRISWOLD, Always Best Care Senior Services, Home Instead, BrightStar Care and Visiting Angels are among the leading care providers that use AI services.

Sensi has recently raised over $31 million in a Series B from investors such as Zeev Ventures, Entree Capital, Insight Partners, Jibe Ventures, Secret Chord Ventures and Flint Capital. The success of the funding round has effectively raised the company’s funds to $54 million.
