Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5: Exclusive South Korean Release

Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 which will be a South Korean exclusive launch. It will therefore only be available in South Korea and can only be available for purchase in the country. 

The Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 is an improved version of the Galaxy A55. This new version of the Galaxy A55 comes with enhanced security as well as newly added AI functions and capabilities. The new launch comes as a collaboration with SK Telecom, a telecom carrier from South Korea. 

The Galaxy Quantum 5 is priced at KRW 618,200 and it comes bundled with a free silicone case from the company. Additionally, a YouTube Premium subscription of two months and a six-month free subscription of Microsoft 365 Basic is a part of the package. Users will also be given a YES24 Crema Club Standard plan.

Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5: Main features of the phone 

This new Samsung release utilises a QRNG (Quantum Random Number Generator) chip called the S2Q000. This chip when combined with Samsung Knox provides the phone with strengthened security especially when used in payment and bank apps. 

The Galaxy Quantum 5 has a 6.6 Super AMOLED screen and an impressive HD+ resolution. This display quality paired with the phone’s 120Hz refresh rate results in the best viewing experience. The phone’s front camera is 32MP while the back camera is 50MP. In addition, the Quantum 5 can record full 4K 30fps videos. It also has approximately 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM. The Samsung phone makes use of the Exynos 1480 chip and is powered by Android 14. 

This new launch is also equipped with a 5000mAh battery and can support up to 25W of fast charging. It uses the USB Type C port for charging. The Quantum 5 is water resistant and includes an IP67 rating for both water and dust resistance making it quite durable in rough terrain.
