Meta has come up with its latest update for the Ray-Ban smart glasses. The new update now makes it compatible with WhatsApp and Messenger video calls. Users should know that this is a hands-free feature. This feature will allow users to receive calls and interact and share a real-time experience during a video call.

Ray-Ban Smart Glasses were launched by Meta in partnership with Essilor Luxottica last year. In December, the smart glasses gained new AI capabilities, enabling users to communicate with their glasses using multiple modes. The Ray-Ban smart glass is capable of understanding your view from the lens using the built-in camera therefore the device responds to if-asked questions and works great like an assistant. The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses were announced starting at $299 i.e. ₹25,000 in India.

The smart glasses by Meta have a lot of amazing features and a stunning look. It comes with a charging case that has the brand logo on top of it. The charging case is of premium quality. The device comes with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a five-mic system that can capture your surroundings and assess information accordingly. The camera offers 144×1920 resolution and packs 32GB storage. The battery life is expected to last up to 4 hours. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and has Bluetooth connectivity 5.2.

The Ray-Ban smart glasses come in unique styles of different shapes and sizes and can be customized as per requirement. Users can also have powered lenses for people with a lack of vision. The glasses have amazing features moreover all of them can be accessed by voice commands. The smart glasses can pick up calls or record videos. There are LED lights on the front of the glasses that light up to indicate that the person wearing the smart glasses is recording or on call. All recorded data can be accessed on the smartphone. The glasses are compatible with both Android as well as iOS devices. The device is currently available in around 15 countries across the globe except India. Although there are hopes of release by 2025.
