Pinnit: A Startup App For Managing Notifications

Co-founded by Sasikanth Miriyampalli and Eduardo Pratti, Pinnit is an app that organises a user’s hectic notifications so they don’t miss out on any important ones.

Pinnit is currently available only for Android. This app was first launched back in 2020 and it served a different purpose during its initial release. However, the app has evolved and added a few more features later. Sometimes, the notifications a user gets can be daunting and a nuisance to sort through. This app allows users to sort notifications and pin tasks for better management.

The creators of this app envisioned this app to serve as a solution for people missing out on important tasks and notifications. According to a study, a person gets an average of about 146 daily notifications. Among those notifications, the person has probably missed out on a few crucial ones., perhaps a dinner reservation with the in-laws or a text from grandma.

Pinnit: More features of this startup app

The app first started by letting users pin tasks on their notification bar to serve as a reminder. The app has since then gone through a revamp with new features and a whole new UI. Users can now be able to look through their notification history to check for any important notifications they missed out on. The users can even look through notifications that were dismissed. This startup app enables users to sort their notifications through the latest to oldest system. In addition, users can also filter notifications from select apps.

This app also offers its users with customization features. Users will be able to customise the description and title of the notification. It acts like a reminder of sorts.

Miriyampalli has stated that Pinnit will be receiving new features later as the months progress. This app gives a 14-day trial for new users and after the trial expires, the users may have to purchase the app itself. The app comes at a one-time purchase price of $1.99.
