NitroPack Has Been Acquired by WP Engine

This acquisition of NitroPack by WP Engine comes as no surprise as the two formed a partnership in 2023. The 2023 partnership aimed to strengthen Page Speed Boost, which is a product of WP Engine. Furthermore, Page Speed Boost has also seen impressive scores in Google Lighthouse ever since its release.

In addition, the WP Engine product saw a whopping 132% average improvement in mobile scores and an average of 34% improvement in desktop scores.

WP Engine CEO and Chairwoman, Heather Brunner also stated her excitement over the new integration. She even states that NitroPack will be able to act as an alternative for various optimization tools. The new acquisition by WP Engine will further strengthen performance and deliver more flexibility and features for site optimisation.

NitroPack - More on this service

This service is also often used by developers, businesses and people seeking to improve their website's performance without investing too much in the technical aspects.

Users can attain quicker load times without depending on resources from the developer and without writing code. This is due to the inbuilt features such as advanced caching, global CDN (Content Delivery Network), propriety speed algorithms, image and code optimisation and so on.

As of now, there seems to be no intention of changing the prices for NitroPack, which means that the product may serve as a separate product on the WP Engine website.
