Elon Musk's Neuralink started with their first human trial this month. The test turned out to be positive, and the person with implantation is completely safe and responding. On further plans, Neuralink was in preparation to start a test they named "Telepathy" where according to Elon Musk the subject would be able to access devices just by thinking about it.
Neuralink is a neurotechnology company that aims to create a seamless brain-computer interface (BCI) called "the Link." It was founded by Elon Musk in 2016. The technology focuses on helping individuals with neurological conditions or other health issues and accessing electronic devices using their thoughts alone.
"The Link" is a coin-sized chip. It is surgically implanted in the scalp with ultra-thin wires connecting it to specific brain regions involved in movement intentions. It aims to stimulate neural activity and translate thoughts into action.
"Telepathy", seeks to enable users to control phones and computers directly with their minds. However, the company is ambitious towards more potential work like sight recovery, treating neurological disorders, etc.

The company seems to have achieved great signs so far. Elon Musk founder of Neuralink said in a Spaces event on social media platform X "Progress was good, and the patient had made a full recovery, with no adverse neural effects that we were aware of. The patient was able to move a mouse around the screen by just thinking".
While the company is celebrating its initial success, Musk has assured that Neuralink has bigger goals. The next goal is towards more complexity like being able to click the mouse buttons by just the thought of mind.
