Karo is an iOS app meant to make tasks easier for individuals and teams alike. This app acts as a to-do list and planner to make managing tasks easier and much more streamlined.
The app's name is derived from the Hindi word which means to do it. Mustafa Yusuf founded the app but it is not his first rodeo with developing a management app. The founder has another app under his belt called Tasks, which is geared towards more complex managing.
Karo is currently only available for iOS users but Yusuf has plans in motion to bring out an Android version. Additionally, users can use the app free of cost but they may have to pay to unlock certain features. The subscription plans for this app start at $4.99 monthly and $39.99 annually.
This app supports languages such as English, French, Arabic, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and German. The basic premise of this app is that it helps users with managing and delegating their tasks. After installation, users can assign a task to just about anyone in their contact lists. The recipients then receive the tasks regardless of whether they have the app installed. The recipients will receive a message through WhatsApp or sms and once they have completed the task, the sender will thus be notified.
Users can also create groups to collaborate. Furthermore, the app also keeps track of all the users’ activities and ensures that everyone finishes the tasks on time. Reminders are also given to make sure that the tasks will be completed.
Karo can also be integrated with Apple Reminders so that all tasks and activities will therefore be shown in Apple Reminders. This app even has a customisation option with more than twenty themes to choose from. The overall design and UI of the app are quite simple and easy to grasp making the learning process of how to use the app faster.
