Grok-2 Beta has been released along with Grok-2 mini with new features including image generation on X. xAI has stated on its official website that the two updates are now open for use exclusively for Premium- and Premium subscribers on X.
The developer version of both models will be available through the enterprise API in the coming weeks. The Elon Musk-owned company has further stated its plans to integrate AI features from both models into x. Furthermore, these features serve to improve X’s post analytics and bring AI replies to the platform.
Grok-2 Beta: More on this new model
Grok-2 has been evaluated across several benchmarks such as math, reading comprehension, closing, science, etc. Both of the new Grok models show considerable improvement from their previous models.
The AI company is partnering with Black Forest Labs to bring AI image generation to X. Black Forest Labs, the company behind FLUX.1 has officially partnered with X in which the social media platform will use FLUX.1’s technology to provide users with access to image generation.
Grok-2 mini has also been released alongside Grok-2 beta and it acts as a smaller version of Grok-2 but it is still very capable in terms of answer speed and quality.
It has been reported that the new Grok model has improved in several departments. For instance, the new model has improved in code generation, writing and summarizing news.
