Google Flights Update Lets Users Get The Cheapest Flights

Google is introducing a new feature through a new tab on Google Flights that lets users find the cheapest flights. The company announced that it plans to add the cheapest tab option for users to find the best flight deals.

Previously, Google had only shown what they assumed were the best choices at the top of the search results. Google-based the results on convenience as well as price. However, convenience may not be the top priority for some people. This feature is made specifically for people who don’t mind sacrificing some level of convenience to get the cheapest deals. The tech giant is expected to roll out its new feature in the next two weeks worldwide.

With this new feature, users will now be able to view the cheapest tab where most lowest prices will be presented to the users. Thus once a user clicks on the tab, they will be given the cheapest available options. The reason these flights are made cheap is because some inconveniences are added. Some of these inconveniences include much longer flight layovers, and buying multiple legs of the user’s trips from different sites or airlines. It is not exactly the hassle-free experience that most people might be accustomed to. However, this feature was made for just that. Essentially, inconvenience is exchanged for cheaper rates.

Google Flights: More on this Google service

The tech company launched Google Flights back on September 13, 2011. It works as a search engine for flights. Users will be able to search, book and track flight prices. The users can also utilise filters to meet their specific needs. They can also receive emails when flight prices drop. Additionally, users can also check the carbon footprint of each flight they take.
