Google presents Essentials, a new Windows PC app to allow users to find and install Google’s best services. The app has been stated to come first to HP Windows and gaming PCs and laptops.

Essentials can be opened from the start menu and users can seamlessly switch between their laptop and phone. Google has not released any details regarding the app’s interface. Laptop brands such as Envy, Pavillion, Spectre, Victus, Spectre, and other HP and OmniBook models will receive the upcoming app first as confirmed by Google.

Essentials: Short rundown on the new app

The tech giant has said that its services such as Google Messages and Google Photos can be accessed through the app. This makes it more convenient for users when working between apps. For instance, users can switch between viewing their photos in their Google Photos and responding to texts from Google Messages.

Essentials also come in handy when users have to accomplish a task as the app contains shortcuts to Google’s other productivity tools. Some of these tools include Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Docs. In addition, select Google One subscribers are given a two-month free trial of Google One 100GB.

Google has also stated that users can uninstall the Essentials app or any other Google service for that matter anytime they want. The tech giant has also announced its plans to bring the upcoming app to even more desktops and laptops shortly.
