ElevenLabs, an AI startup company has recently released its ElevenLabs Reader App globally. This app lets users listen to all kinds of textual content with various voice and language options.
The ElevenLabs Reader App aims to provide convenience with its text-to-speech service. It enables users to listen to any textual content on the go whether that be an email, PDF, article, etc. Users can listen to a business email while they are commuting to work.
The app was previously only available in the US but with the global release, the Reader app by ElevenLabs has also expanded to Android as it was only available for iOS.

The Reader app supports around 32 languages including English, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Swedish and more. In addition, users are also provided with different voice options to choose from. Notable celebrities such as James Dean, Judy Garland, Burt Reynold and more voices have been licensed for use in the app.
The startup has stated that the Turbo v2.5 model powers language support and it also decreases the amount of latency during the conversion. ElevenLabs plans on bringing even more features to its Reader app. An offline version is said to be in the works and the app may also be able to share snippets of the audio in the coming future. Language support is also expected to be expanded.
ElevenLabs, the company behind the app, is based in New York, United States and it recently attained unicorn status. The company has raised over $80 million in funding which has valued the company at over $1 billion.
