Circle to Search Comes to Galaxy A and Tab S9 FE

Circle to Search has been extended to support select Samsung Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy A Series and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. The feature was released in 2024 on the Pixel 8 series as well as the Galaxy S24 series and continues to extend support to more smartphone models.

Google first introduced Circle to Search on January 2024, on select Android devices. It empowered users to search for anything on their screen without going through the hassle of between tabs.

This feature by Google enables users to tap, click, highlight or scribble any part of a text or image to search more on the particular part. Users can redo the entire selection process if they are not satisfied with the initial results.

Circle to Search and Samsung’s Collaboration with Google

Samsung has stated that Circle to Search will be launched on select Samsung phones. The models include the Galaxy A35, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A55 and Galaxy 54. Circle to Search will also be available in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. Users can even use their Galaxy S Pen to ‘circle’ an object on their tablet screens.

Since its launch in the Galaxy S24 series, the Circle to Search feature has also been extended support to even more Samsung devices. The Galaxy Z Flip6 and the Z Fold6 have also seen the integration of this feature.

Samsung’s collaboration with Google aims to introduce efficient and top-performing AI technology to its user base. AI integration into its devices provides users with a quick and easy way of information retrieval.
