Cards Against Humanity is demanding $15 million in damages in a lawsuit against Elon Musk. This lawsuit filed against Musk alleges that SpaceX has illegally trespassed and damaged private company property.
For the past six months, SpaceX has been alleged to treat private property belonging to Cards Against Humanity’s property as their own. The property is located in Cameron County, Texas. So the lawsuit has been filed in the Texas State Court.
CAH has claimed that SpaceX has destroyed the once natural and green property with the “gravel, tractors, and space garbage”. The land was cleared of its vegetation and the soil was compacted due to all the gravel and other erosive material. CAH has also confronted Musk’s company. But SpaceX offered to buy the property for half its value, a response that CAH did not receive well.
Cards Against Humanity: More on the legal battle against Musk and SpaceX
Cards Against Humanity, the company behind the popular card game of the same name, bought the property back in 2017. It was purchased to make it as difficult as possible for former US president Donald Trump to build a border wall. Around 150,000 people donated $15 to fund the company’s cause so SpaceX destroying the prompt has also in turn damaged the relationship between the relationship between CAH and its supporters, as per claims in the lawsuit.
Cards Against Humanity has promised its donors that if they win this lawsuit, all $15 donors would receive $100 each. However, the company has admitted that Musk’s plethora of lawyers may result in each donor receiving only $2. Campaign donors have been asked to post on “Twitter”, not “X” to spread the word about this ongoing lawsuit. The campaign’s donors are asked to link www.ElonOwesYou100Dollars.com in their posts.
