Having a linkable asset is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. However, many people just don’t get the power of putting out content that people actually want to link to.
They just keep on churning out content and posting it in hopes that someone will read it and share it. But it doesn’t work that way.
Readers are much savvy than they used to be and they’ve come to expect exceptional content that goes way beyond the plain, boring and ordinary. So what makes for a linkable asset?
Well, that’s what I’m going to tell you today the tips for creating content people want to link.
Here are some exceptional linkable asset types people love to share.
Maps
You might not have heard of this one before, but this method is sure to have people eager to link to your content. People love maps, and the visuals they provide make them easy to read and share. These are similar in form to infographics except when someone types a search query such as “this map shows ______” up pops the relevant results.
You can use anything industry-related (or not) to fill in the blank. You can also request the search parameter to only show results from the past week. And if you use the right keywords and the right information when developing your maps, your information will pop up in the search results when someone searches for those keywords.
And, people will be inclined to click on your maps, and maps are frequently shared as well. Go ahead and try it. Type in your browser “this map shows ______” without the quotes and fill in the blank with anything you’re interested in and see what comes up. Then see how many of those make you want to click on them and link to them. You can then imitate the tactics they used to create your maps.
SMS Marketing
Using SMS marketing might not seem like the obvious way to create a linkable asset; however, it’s one of the best in a roundabout way. You simply have a video, infographic, or map as we talked about above made up and have your text messaging service start rolling them out for you. People love to share videos, pictures, and other types of graphics. That’s one of the reasons YouTube and Pinterest are so popular. And that’s what makes text marketing so effective when it comes to turning your content into a linkable asset. But just remember to include these pieces of content on your website, so your link takes them back there.
YouTube Videos
People are so used to seeing YouTube videos they sometimes ignore the obvious. YouTube videos are great for developing a linkable asset.
How many times has someone sent you a video in the last 24 hours?
I would bet probably quite a few.
Well, they wouldn’t be doing that if it wasn’t working. So all you need to do is have some high-quality videos made that contain humor, emotion, a current trending topic, or some extremely valuable information. Then submit them to all the video sites. Just make sure you do your keyword research first and don’t forget to put a link to your website in the description. Additionally, you should post your videos on your website so when people link to it are followed back to your website. This will also help with your search engine rankings as well because when people take the time to watch a video, they are spending more time on your site, which improves the bounce rate of your website and is considered a major search engine ranking factor.

Hey Sophorn,
SMS is highly effective for reaching out to customers. SMS messages are likely to be opened within just five minutes of being received. This makes SMS great for appointment reminders, limited time contests and coupon promotions. SMS mobility services have transformed communication and taken it to an all new level. This has opened up vibrant new vistas for the mass communication industry through mobile phones. With technological advancements and the increasing accessibility of mobile phones, sending bulk SMS is an easy way to reach people without spending too much money. Eventually, thanks for sharing these beneficial facts with us.
With best wishes,

There is this popular axiom with respect business that doing business without no one knowing about it is like standing in the dark and winking at a lady. You know what you’re doing but the lady doesn’t see what you’re doing.
Hence writing a blog post without no one linking is indeed a major disaster.
